Frontier vs. Spectrum internet

Spectrum is the best internet provider if you live in relations to fiber connections. However, they do not offer as fast of speeds and prices can be higher than other providers since it’s only cable service that comes into your home rather then having an old-fashioned copper wire connection like we used to back when dial up was king!

Fiber optic strands allow data transfer rates up above 200Mbps which means streaming videos will have less lag time; plus there's no more worrying about getting disconnected because your Internet pipes were cut by someone else who doesn't care enough for themselves.

Additional things to consider

When you’re looking for internet service, the price that is displayed may not be what your final bill looks like. In addition to taxes and fees related with equipment rental or installation costs overages in data consumption can add up quickly! Here's how Frontier compare against Spectrum when it comes these extra considerations.

Equipment fees

Spectrum and Frontier offer great deals in the modem/router department. You can get a rental for just $10 & $15 per month, which is less than what most providers charge!

Installation fee

Frontier Communications fees for installations are considerably cheaper than those at Spectrum. For a professional installation, you'll have to pay $85 with Frontier while the cost varies depending on what type of service is needed ranging from around 50 bucks up into hundreds!

What shoppers should consider in different regions

Internet provider pricing and package options vary across the U.S., especially with Frontier’s high speed internet service! You can get different speeds in separate regions of this country, but they also tend to offer higher packages when it comes down those individual plans - so be sure check out all your choices before you decide on anything just yet!.

TV and internet service providers offer a variety of bundles in order to provide the best possible options for customers. While these packages may be available across different regions, they will vary depending on where you live--and even what type or speed tier your current subscription includes!

Frontier vs. Spectrum bundles

Frontier's TV channel packages are comparable to Spectrum’s, but it offers internet only plans that start at $54.99/mo in most areas which can be bundled with cable for increased value!

There seems to be an endless number of options when it comes time for TV services, but one thing is certain - you can't go wrong with either DISH or DIRECTV STREAM. They offer great deals and excellent customer service!

Frontier Fiber 500 + DIRECTV STREAM ENTERTAINMENT

  • Starting at $108.98/mo.*
  • Download speeds up to 500 Mbps
  • Unlimited data
  • 65+ channels
  • No contract

  • Starting at $109.98/mo.**
  • Download speeds up to 300 Mbps*

  • 125+ channels

Frontier vs. Spectrum customer satisfaction

Spectrum has been improving steadily over the past few years, but so too does Frontier. There is still a significant gap between customer satisfaction with these two internet providers- Spectrum outscored their competitor by almost 2 points in every one of three sources we looked at!

Source Frontier Spectrum
ASCI 57/100 63/100
Consumer Reports 57/100 64/100
J.D. Power 637/1000 696/1000

Although Frontier offers a limited service area for DSL connections, complaints about slow speeds tend to center around this provider. If you can get fiber-optic internet at your address then it shouldn't be an issue but that doesn’t explain its poor score from Consumer Reports readers or thousands of BBB reports regarding customer service issues with sales people as well!

Frontier’s service has been anything but ordinary since the company went public again in May 2021. The new leadership and focus on building out their fiber optic network is exciting for future customers, but it seems like this change will only be reflected when viewing Frontier's customer satisfaction scores—so far there isn't much of a difference!

Our verdict

Spectrum is the best option for most people. It offers faster speeds and its price tag may be cheaper than that of Frontier Fiber, but if you can only get DSL service from them then their cable internet will still provide reliable performance in your area- which customers are overwhelmingly satisfied with!
