SWAT FIRST Internet is an upcoming member of the high-speed internet service provider fraternity to provide efficient and affordable internet services. It was started in 2023 by a group of young technopreneurs who were driven by the need to bring change by providing better internet services to the most needy people in society. SWAT FIRST marries new-generation wireless technology to provide up to 1Gbps without the dependence on cables. This enables them to establish new service areas within the shortest time possible. Their network employs more of a mesh topology where every customer has a router that performs the extra function of expanding the network’s coverage. This assists them in having coverage growth organically as they extend their customer base. Although the big telecoms are targeting wealthy metro cities, SWAT FIRST targets the small cities and rural areas that have been left with slow DSL, poor cellular data, or no wired broadband at all. They consider internet connection as a fundamental right and not a luxury, hence they support equal provision of high-speed internet connection for everyone without discriminating against the geographical location or their financial capability. While SWAT FIRST Internet is not yet a very old company, it has made significant headway in bringing the future of connectivity and its benefits to numerous communities across the nation. With their products priced at a cheaper price and created and developed to offer solutions to the community, they aim at closing the digital divide from the grassroots.
