Sandhill ConNEXTions Internet is a Local ISP located in Sandhill, North Carolina and it is in the business of providing internet services to the public. Sandhill ConNEXTions was started in 2005 by a group of technology entrepreneurs and the mission of this company is to offer cheap and effective broadband internet links to the rural areas of the Sandhill region. Sandhill ConNEXTions developed its network of radio towers using fixed wireless technology for the company’s Internet connection in the region, which covers 3,000 square miles in area. As a wireless broadband internet service provider with up to 25Mbps, we take pride in providing various home and business internet solutions without requiring underground fiber optics installation. This concept makes the cost of implementing the infrastructure relatively low compared to wired networks. Since the company was established in 2003 the Sandhill ConNEXTions has provided connection to over five thousand households and companies. In the social responsibility aspect, it has worked with local governments, hospitals, schools, and non-profit organizations to close the digital gap. In the year 2021, the company secured a federal grant to extend its rural broadband service any further, to cover as many as 90% of the country’s households in the counties by the year 2025.
