MORnet Communications Internet is an ISP company that operates in the region of Missouri. Established in 1991, MORnet offers direct fiber-optic Internet connections to educational establishments, healthcare facilities, governmental offices, and research centers throughout the state. For more than a quarter of a century, MORnet has served as the backbone of the Missouri institution’s network and their gateway to the worldwide Web. For students, faculty, medical practitioners, and agencies, it guarantees effective connectivity and communication delivery. Some of the essential services provided by MORnet include; access to the internet, the World Wide Web, web hosting, email services, network security, and other related services. It manages a fiber infrastructure that spans over 3,600 miles and offers links to over 450 CAIs across Missouri. MORnet is committed to enhancing the education, research, health, and economic sectors through sustained and affordable Internet access. Although MORnet is a member-based organization, profits generated are reinvested in ways that seek to enhance and develop the R&E network in Missouri. In this regard, MORnet seeks to universalize access to technology and foster the accomplishments of its members in their communities’ transformation.
