With high-speed broadband connections, country residents can now telecommute, learn and consult doctors through electronic means, implement smart home technologies, watch HD videos, and perform business, all of which were not possible before. Some issues such as affordability and adoption are still present, but a positive change has occurred in the subject of equality for rural internet users as broadband expansion occurs in rural areas and provides modern solutions to the country folk. High-quality and speedy country internet acts as a foundation through which rural communities can transform in the twenty-first century.
