Located in central Minnesota, CentraCom Internet is an ISP offering to its clients Internet services. Originally started in 2000, CentraCom's goal is to make sure Minnesota's rural inhabitants have easy access to reasonably priced high-speed internet. Since then, CentraCom—which operates out of Sauk Centre—has extended its internet service offering to over 40,000 households and businesses throughout 17 of the Central Minnesota counties. It brought customers from Litchfield in the South and Alexandria to the north. With fiber-optic/fixed wireless connections that let users access internet connection with up to 1 Gbps, CentraCom will let consumers participate in video conferences, streaming of high-quality movies, and so forth. It also offers many house plans with no data consumption restrictions ranging from 25 Mbps to 100 Mbps. Over the last 10 years, this organization has been much praised for its extremely strong client attention and care. Encouragement of more economic collaboration between the corporation and local governments, companies, enterprises, and other groups is among its main strategic goals. CentraCom's mission is clearly to narrow the digital gap by giving more Minnesotans access to fast and dependable Internet connections in future years via ongoing investment in broadband infrastructure and services. The management sees technology as a means of enhancing the quality of life in the regions within its purview.
